You will visit the impressive Laitlum Canyons for sweeping, panoramic views of the deep valleys and mist-covered hills. Next, take a short drive to see the three-tiered cascade of Elephant Falls. Following this, you will embark on a spectacular drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the wettest places on earth. Along the way, stop at the Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint to witness dramatic gorge landscapes before checking into your Cherrapunji resort for a peaceful overnight stay.
Wake up early for an unforgettable day trip toward the India-Bangladesh border. Your first major destination is the border town of Dawki, where you will experience a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, which are so transparent that boats look like they are floating on air. Afterward, you will travel to Mawlynnong Village, celebrated as the cleanest village in Asia.
